Course Summary
A basic level catechesis for beginners on the use of scripture as methodology for ministry. The is the second seminar in a series of three basic level seminars. Ensure that you have already completed level Catechesis 001, Seminar 1if you are a new catechist.
Successful completion of this course earns 1.5 CEU's.
General Course Objectives
- To understand the importance of scripture as a methodology tool in catechesis.
- To analyze the pedagogy of parables and adapt them to specific age groups.
- To create a sense of belonging for persons being catechized.

- To learn methodologies of inclusion
- Week 3: Transformation
- To understand the role of religious imagination in catechetical ministry.
- To understand the ministry of catechesis as one of transformation for both catechist and catechized.
